Didn’t want to put the book down! Ordered more copies for gifts! Linda did a fantastic job keeping the story going making you want to read “just one more chapter”. Highly recommend!

The Road Between Two Skies was a joy and totally exciting read. Ms. Fifer has a way of making you feel as though you’re right there with the characters. Hanging on every word, I wanted to know what was coming next. This book is well-written with each page full of suspense, adventure and intrigue. The detail is rich so that you feel you feel , smell and hear the environment. The tension in the situations is palpable so that you are invested in the story. I didn’t want to have the adventure end. I say “well done” by this first-time Montana author and I look forward to her next book.

“Road Between Two Skies” is all my favorite things: part suspense, part mystery part romance. It’s a beautifully told story of how an abduction changes the course of a woman’s life and how she finds peace with her new life with the help of inner strength and good friends. A real page turner.

What impressed me was the great character development of the four people most central to the story. The kidnappers were terrifying, partially due to the things that were not said about them. This story held my interest the whole way through. I look forward to the author’s next book!

This book was amazing. I have worked with trauma survivors in my career, and author Linda Fifer nailed it. The main character’s trauma, the intensity and duration of her recovery, and the choices that she was pushed into making, and those she decided to confront herself, were believable and inspirational. This would be an excellent resource for anyone who has been assaulted or who has gone through a period of amnesia.
I just loved this book! The best thing for me was the depth of the character development. I was immediately drawn to Maggie/Brenniss and her perceptions. It was hard to put the book down and attend to real life!
I also appreciated that I did not know how her story would end. Linda kept me intrigued until the final few pages. And the last few lines were perfect. I chuckled and I hated to see this book end.
I hope that Linda Fifer writes other books.

This book had everything: mystery, great characters, joy and sadness (which caught me laughing out loud as well as wiping tears) and most of all an interesting story.
It was hard for me to put it down – I wanted to see “what happened next” so those 500+ pages were quickly turned.
I shall look forward for another book by this author.

I would give this book 10 stars if I could!! It was just my kind of book!! The way the author weaved all the characters together was masterful. Back in time & in the present, it all fit together. The story kept my attention all the way to the end – lots of twists & turns that kept me coming back for more. I hated to stop reading – I woke up early a couple mornings just to start to read again! I am looking forward to future books by this Montana author. Great job!*!

I found The Road Between Two Skies a totally satisfying read. Ms. Fifer paints vivid word images fresh and colorful, so that the reader is drawn into the scene as a participant. Horses play a role in the heroine’s healing, appealing to readers who are familiar with and/or lovers of these animals. I’m looking forward to the author’s next novel!

    from Joanne B.
“…I enjoyed reading The Road Between Two Skies.I started reading it and couldn’t put it down. As a book/mystery, it accomplished all the right things…the first half extending tentacles in several directions and the second half weaving it all together toward a credible and heartfelt ending. A great read for book clubs…Right up there with Louise Penny!…”
